vMix multistream for professional productions

Send one program feed from vMix to YouTube, Twitch and any custom RTMP destination. StreamRove takes a single RTMP or SRT output from vMix and distributes it in the cloud — saving your venue's uplink for the production itself.

Built for multi-camera productions, hybrid events and outside broadcasts where the internet connection is the weakest link.

Why production teams route vMix through StreamRove

Protect the venue uplink

vMix can stream to three destinations natively — but each one multiplies your upload. On event Wi-Fi or bonded cellular, one clean 6 Mbps feed to StreamRove beats three fighting for air.

SRT for unreliable links

Send SRT from vMix and let its packet recovery survive jitter and loss that would kill RTMP. StreamRove converts it to what every platform needs.

A safety net for paid gigs

Automatic Backup Stream puts a branded holding slide or countdown on air within seconds if the venue feed drops — the client's channels never show dead air.

One dashboard for the TD

Live health score, per-platform status and start/stop control in one browser tab next to your vMix machine.

StreamRove vs. vMix native multi-destination streaming

vMix's three built-in outputs are great — until the uplink isn't.

Frequently asked questions

Can vMix send SRT to StreamRove?

Yes. vMix supports SRT output in caller mode, and StreamRove accepts SRT ingest. SRT's retransmission handles packet loss that would cause visible glitches over RTMP, which makes it the right choice for venue and cellular links.

What vMix output settings do you recommend?

1080p59.94 or 1080p60, H.264 High profile, CBR 6,000–8,000 kbps, 2-second keyframe interval, AAC 160 kbps audio. The Smart Output Profile panel shows the tightest combined setting for your exact destination mix.

Can I keep one vMix output as a local backup recording?

Absolutely — use vMix recording locally while sending the program to StreamRove. StreamRove can record in the cloud as well, so with recording armed you end up with two independent archives.

What happens if the venue internet fails mid-event?

StreamRove's Automatic Backup Stream detects signal loss within seconds and switches every platform to your chosen holding content — a slate, countdown or looping video — then restores the live feed automatically when vMix reconnects.

Do I need StreamRove if I only stream to two platforms?

Even with two destinations you halve your upload requirement, gain failover protection, and get health monitoring with alerts — which is usually worth it the first time a client event survives an ISP hiccup.
